Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

We do not bill insurance directly.

Functional Medicine is considered an out-of-network service and out-of-pocket expense, however, some labs may be billable to PPO insurance depending on type of policy/plan and/or a met deductible.

What to expect on the first visit:

The first visit, your initial consultation, will be 60 minutes. This will be a consultation to review your health history and case history in depth, as well as address your current lifestyle habits and any initial concerns, to set your health goals in motion!

What is your cancellation policy?

If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 48 business hours before the scheduled appointment time to avoid a cancellation fees. (Friendly reminder, our office is closed on Thursdays, so for example, a Friday appointment will need to be rescheduled or canceled by your appointment time the Tuesday before, at the latest.)

What lab tests are ordered? How much do they cost?

All lab work is done through a 3rd party laboratory depending on the patient's testing needs. All lab fees are paid to the lab company directly, some of which may be covered by insurance.

Lab testing information is emailed to you directly following your initial consultation and will only be ordered following your confirmation and approval. Testing varies depending on each individual's needs and concerns to be addressed. Pricing of each additional lab test varies depending on the laboratory the testing originates from.
